Katrin Spiridonova is a filmmaker based in New York. She is currently pursing a BFA in Film at Pratt Institute. With attention to detail and focus on the quirks in life, she passionately seeks for beauty where least expected. Her work taps into moving and still images, sounds and sonic thoughts, and various forms of writing. Using these elements, and other experimental techniques, she explores ways in which she can enhance these unique moments and seemingly naturalistic instances in life. Magical realism serves as a base for much of her work and influences the way she depicts the world.
